Tasting Notes

Aromas of cassis with mint notes and oak. Medium-bodied and classically structured with good density. The Cabernet fruit melds seamlessly with the Malbec, creating a well-structured and balanced blend with moderate tannins and a lengthy finish.

Food Pairing

This blend will pair well with any Cab-friendly dishes such as steak, pork, lamb, and strong cheeses. It can handle any dish with cream or butter sauces.

The floral, juicy and expressive 2018 Beso de Dante shows good freshness and balance with some tannin (it's very young), and it might benefit from some more time in bottle. This is a serious Malbec. Wine Advocate October 2019

A blend of 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 45% Malbec and 5% Cabernet Franc from the Uco Valley, aged for 18 months in 50% new French barrels. Very much in the Bordeaux style, the nose begins with plum and black currant notes, followed by spice and cedar, as part of a lovely aromatic profile. Tight in the mouth, where the Cabernet Sauvignon takes the lead. The firm, fine-grained tannins are leavened by the Malbec and supported by just enough freshness to make the palate juicy.
